For years, it was recommended to get your first colorectal screening at age 50. Due to an alarming rise in cancer diagnoses among young adults, that recommendation was recently lowered to 45.

Texas Oncology asked us to create a digital campaign targeting this younger demographic, but we needed to raise awareness without invoking fear. And we also had to be unique—many of our competitors were using nostalgia as a campaign approach (if you remember this band, song, movie, etc. then you need a colonoscopy). 

That's how we came up with the "Milestones" campaign. At 45, you may feel like you've already achieved most of life's significant milestones—but getting your colorectal screening just might be the most important one yet.
